Warranty Policy

Effective July 2024

PLEASE READ THIS POLICY CAREFULLY BEFORE USING, PURCHASING, RENTING, VISITING, ASSOCIATING, AND/OR RETURNING CROSS CANNON WELDING, LLC’S WEBSITES, PROPERTIES, PRODUCTS, AND/OR SERVICES. THIS POLICY DESCRIBES HOW CROSS CANNON WELDING, LLC OPERATES REGARDING THIS SUBJECT. CROSS CANNON WELDING, LLC’S WEBSITE, PRODUCTS, SERVICES AND ALL ASPECTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR YOU TO USE ONLY ON THE CONDITION THAT YOU AGREE TO OUR POLICIES. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ALL OF OUR POLICIES, DO NOT ACCESS, VISIT USE, SHOP OR ASSOCIATE WITH CROSS CANNON WELDING, LLC AND ITS WEBSITES, PRODUCTS, SERVICES AND/OR PROPERTIES. BY ACCESSING, USING, PURCHASING, RENTING, VISITING, ASSOCIATING, AND/OR RETURNING CROSS CANNON WELDING, LLC’S WEBSITES, PROPERTIES, PRODUCTS, AND/OR SERVICES YOU AND THE ENTITY YOU ARE AUTHORIZED TO REPRESENT SIGNIFY YOUR AGREEMENT TO ITS POLICIES.

We reserve the right to make changes to this and all our policies at any given time, without notice. If you want to make sure that you are up to date with the latest changes, we advise you to frequently visit and fully read our policies listed at the end of this document.

Jurisdiction

This Policy and all our policies shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to any conflict of law provisions. The waiver of any provision of these Terms shall not be considered a waiver of any other provision or of our right to require strict observance of each of the terms herein. If any provision of this is found to be unenforceable or invalid for any reason, that provision shall be severable, and all other provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

When mass producing is happening, it is always easy to miss something. CCW strives to make all our products properly and as safe as we can. If our product fails from a design or production standpoint, we will offer a partial refund, fix it for free or if it is unrepairable within reason, we will offer you a new one. Please read over this Policy to understand how your products will be covered in case Cross Cannon Welding, LLC provides you with a product manufacturing faults.

Coverage

Due to Cross Cannon Welding, LLC products being either just cut metal or welded together metal Iin a non-structural purpose, there are only a few issues that can arise from our production. These are how the Cross Cannon Welding, LLC sees these common issues:

- Design Issues- Where somehow the design you approved did not come out as presented to you. In custom products, CCW sends you concepts at each stage of design for you to approve. If the cut product does not match the finalized approved design within reason, then that is the fault of the company. However, if you approve the design and the product matches but you realized afterwards that a name or something was misspelled, if it matches what the customer approved then it is not the company’s fault and is NOT the company’s policy to amend for free.

- Cutting issue- Where a design was cut improperly to the point where the intended appearance is disturbed or altered. This includes issues like, but not limited to, insides of letters being missing, parts of designs being not cut out, and other issues related to the appearance of the cutting and designing of the product. This does NOT include common issues with CNC plasma cutting. These common issues include, but are not limited to, things like slightly altered edges where the torch pierced the metal, slightly overcut lines, and other subtle imperfections from the cutting process. 

-Weld Issue- Where a weld done by Cross Cannon Welding, LLC fails to hold the 2 pieces together. If your product is falling apart or two pieces have become loose, please reach out to CCW. We will need as many photos or videos as you can supply of the area in disarray. If you are nearby, you’re welcome to call and see when you can bring it in. If it is most likely or certain that the weld done by our Cross Cannon Welding, LLC was not done correctly and lead to a lesser product and experience, we will gladly remedy this situation free of charge. This does NOT include extreme damage where the weld held but the metal itself was broken away. We are not sure what you could have done but this defect is not the fault of CCW. Also, if you buy a “Weld it yourself” kit and weld the firepit together yourself or hire a weld shop to do it, CCW is not responsible for the integrity of those welds or the general assembly of the product. 

-PAINT ISSUES- CCW IS NOT A PAINTING COMPANY, OUR PAINT ON OUR PRODUCTS IS NOT WARRANTIED. OUR FIREPITS ARE PAINTED WITH HEAT PAINT BUT IT IS JUST FOR STORAGE PROTECTION. OUR SIGNS AND OTHER PRODUCTS ARE PAINTED TO OUR BEST OF OUR ABILITIES BUT CCW STRUGGLES WITH PAINTING. WE CHARGE FOR PAINTING ONLY BECAUSE TO PAINT, WE MUST SHUT DOWN OUR FABRICATION SHOP AND THIS CAN CAUSE DELAYS AND ISSUES FOR THE COMPANY. IF YOUR PAINT ON A PRODUCT OF OURS THAT ISNT A FIREPIT HAS ISSUES, WE DO APOLAGIES. GENRALLY, CCW AVOIDS PAINTING. OUR FIREPITS WITHOUT PAINT WILL STILL LAST YEARS. THEY WILL RUST BUT THE INTEGRETY OF THE METAL WILL BE FINE FOR YEARS.

-Rusting- Our products are made of mild steel, this is a material that when left in humid or wet conditions, will oxidize (rust). For our fire pits, we may spray them with heat resistant paint for storage reasons, but not always. We hope that the paint holds for our customers but if your firepit rusts it will be completely fine. Our full-size fire pits use 10-gauge steel which is thicker than the frame of pick-up trucks. Our smaller fire pits out of 14 gauge should hold up fine. These are not as robust but even with rust, you should get your money’s worth out of them. For our signs, we recommend painting them, we offer some painting, but we really are not painters. If your sign rusts, they should be fine. Unpainted signs even left inside will rust over time from humidity. Cross Cannon Welding, LLC is NOT responsible for rust prevention on our products. It is the nature of the material we use. If we used Stainless steel our prices would have to be five times as high due to the expensive material costs. 

-General other issues- Any issues outside of the mentioned one comes up, please reach out and submit it if you believe it is the company’s fault. If CCW has done something to lead to a lesser product, we want to know and do what we can.

Reporting

When the customer has an issue with their product, Cross Cannon Welding, LLC would appreciate you informing us even if it’s not covered. We are always trying to make a better product that works better for our CCW Family. 

When you have an issue with one of products and wish to report it, send an email to CrossCannonWelding@gmail.com with “ISSUE [full name], Product description” in the subject line. Attach as many useful photos or videos as you can to help us properly judge the issue and learn what we can do in the future. Once we receive the email, we will examine everything and determine if it is a covered issue or not. No matter what Cross Cannon welding, LLC will reach out and update you with the progress of the review. Please give CCW five (5) business days to investigate and supply an update.

Options for Covered Issues

Now Cross Cannon Welding, LLC offers a few options to attempt to remedy your product issues. When it is a covered issue CCW will supply the remedy for free. No charge. For any issues that aren’t covered, CCW is prepared to lend a hand in helping fix the situation, but it may lead to a fee. CCW recommends you look over how the company will aim to remedy the issue.

Partial Refund- This is the preferred way of handling small issues that will not impact the use of the product. CCW evaluates the issues and offers you some money back to remedy the dissatisfaction. This is quick, easy and allows for both parties to come to a happy resolution.

Repair- This is sometimes the only right option when a weld issue or cut issue is present. This requires the company to attempt to fix the issue so that you have a product with no issues like how it should have done to begin with. This option is available for non-covered issues however it will have to be evaluated and a fee be discussed.

Swap- If there is ever a case that the product is deemed unsalvageable, CCW will offer you the same product. We will swap the messed-up product for a new one and include a gift to show our apologies for allowing such an issue to reach our Family members.

Return/Full Refund- If the covered issues on our product have left you with a bad impression of our company and you’d rather just have your money back than we will return your money once we receive our product back. We do not offer returns on any CCW product that has been modified in any way. This can include, but not limited to, painting, grinding, welding, heavy rust, or drilling.  This option is only available to products suffering from extreme covered issues. Delivery Options for Covered Issues

When a product must be sent back to Cross Cannon welding, LLC due to a covered issue, we will cover 100$ of the shipping fee with the UPS standard ground. For any non-covered issues, the customer will be responsible for the full price of shipping the product back to the company. Any customers within driving distance are recommended to call and set up a time to drop off their products or have Cross Cannon Welding, LLC come pick it up. 

Payment

No returns or full refunds will be paid out until the product is back on company property in reasonably similar shape as presented in the email report. Cross Cannon Welding, LLC receive your product in a state that is beyond reasonably different from the repot photos and videos supplied, the company has the right to modify the amount being returned to the customer. This is applied when the company has solid reason to believe either the evidence originally supplied was false or the customer damaged or modified the product after the investigation was concluded for any reason. Once the investigation is started and completed, no modification to the product is allowed unless explicitly approved in email by the company. The company holds the right to deny all payment if Cross Cannon Welding has good grounds to believe the product was modified in a malicious manner towards the product and/or company. DO NOT MODIFY ANY PRODUCT ONCE YOU HAVE SUBMITTED THE INTIAL EMAIL TO CROSS CANNON WELDING, LLC WITHOUT EXPLICIT APPROVAL IN EMAIL FROM THE COMPANY OR YOUR REFUND/RETURN WILL BE VOIDED AND YOU WILL HAVE TO RECLAIM YOUR PRODUCT OR ABANDON IT TO CCW AT YOUR OWN COST.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

BY USING, PURCHASING, RENTING, VISITING, ASSOCIATING, AND/OR RETURNING CROSS CANNON WELDING, LLC’S WEBSITES, PROPERTIES, PRODUCTS, AND/OR SERVICES, YOU ARE HERBY ACCEPTING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS STIPULATED WITHIN THIS POLICY AND ALL OUR POLICES. IF YOU ARE NOT IN AGREEMENT WITH OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS IN ANY POLICY OF CROSS CANNON WELDING, LLC, THEN YOU SHOULD REFRAIN FROM FURTHER USE, PURCHASE, RENTING, VISITING, ASSOCIATING, AND/OR RETURNING OF CROSS CANNON WELDING, LLC’S WEBSITES, PROPERTIES, PRODUCTS, AND/OR SERVICES. IN ADDITION, YOUR CONTINUED USE, PURCHASING, RENTING, VISITING, ASSOCIATING, AND/OR RETURNING OF CROSS CANNON WELDING, LLC’S WEBSITES, PROPERTIES, PRODUCTS, AND/OR SERVICES FOLLOWING THE POSTING OF ANY UPDATES OR CHANGES TO OUR POLICIES SHALL MEAN YOU AGREE AND ACCEPT SUCH CHANGES.

We reserve the right to modify or amend Cross Cannon Welding, LLC Polices from time to time without notice. Your continued use, purchasing, renting, visiting, associating, and/or returning of Cross Cannon Welding, LLC’s websites, properties, products, and/or services following the posting of changes to this Policy will mean you accept those changes.
